Hi, I'm Wesley Totherow, founder of the brand T'other Co. The company name is derived from, of course, my last name – an odd one for sure. Like my papa used to say when asked to spell our curious name, "Not this row. Not that row. Totherow."
I am located within the hills of North Georgia – just below the Tennessee valley – here with my wife, my companion, my rock star. I am a self-taught, self-made, homegrown graphic designer. My experience working in a print shop for 5+ years has allowed me to harness my skill in creating printed material; my experience as a human has allowed me to empathize with others and find a common goal.
The purpose of this brand is in part to hope and reach for beauty in a sometimes shadowed and overwhelming world. In my mind, "art" is not the end goal but a means to an end – joy, encouragement, authenticity, etc. I believe good work is done for the betterment of each other; I aspire to see others thrive doing what they love, achieving their own dreams.
So, who is 'The Other Company'? A company focused on community and finding a good path for everyone – a path filled with thoughtfulness and beauty.
